Triangulated Bowl

Ever since we saw this hat at United Nude, Mary has wanted a triangulated beret. I decided I needed more practice before embarking on my next bag, and an excuse to visit the super cute new fabric shop that just opened by my apartment, so I set out to make one for her. Apparently, I have no idea what a beret is supposed to look like, and I failed to Wikipedia before starting. This is always a mistake. Also, my trusty sewing machine finally decided to give out in the middle of assembly, so the whole thing is a bit rough around the edges. I think it makes a quite decent bowl, though, and I’m in process of remedying the sewing machine situation.
